Update: 20.06.2016 - An Unexpected Discovery

A pair of curious children have discovered the entrance to a mysterious Cave outside of the castle. One brave Hero accepted a Quest that sent him to explore this previously unknown area, and report back on whatever he might find within. The whole Kingdom anxiously awaits his return! 

This week's update introduces the Treasure Cave, Daily Tasks, some important Balancing updates, and technical improvements. Continue reading below for more information.

 General


  • Treasure cave!

    • A mysterious new Cave has been discovered near your castle.  

    • One brave Hero can go and explore the Cave at your command, and after a set amount of time they will return with some treasure!

    • There will be one per Kingdom, and only one Hero can explore them at a time. 

    • The Hero will be unavailable while they are exploring the Cave

    • Once the Hero has been sent to the Cave, they can not be called back until the predetermined time has passed.  

    • This feature will ensure that players can continue to collect some Rewards, even while they are not online.

  • Daily tasks

    • From now on, you will be rewarded for actively playing the game on a daily basis. 

    • You will earn Activity Points by completing Tasks, and the amount earned will increase in relation to the difficulty of the Task

    • There are two types of TasksSpecial and Ordinary.    

      • Special Tasks - These change everyday, and are the same for all players. 

      • Ordinary Tasks - These depend on your current level, and will remain the same. 

    • Reaching certain Activity Points milestones unlocks Rewards, such as Hero XP, Resourses etc.

    • The Rewards do scale according to a players level in order to congratulate hard work. 


 Balancing 

  • VIP Time

    • VIP Time is now more accessible.

    • Players can now earn VIP Time as a Reward from Point Events, as a daily Login Bonus, and of course still through Special Offers.

  • Healing costs

    • After some research, we have decided to increase the price of Healing Units.

    • These changes will only affect the price of the heal all function for Grade V and VI Units.
  • Grade II  units

    • Grade II Units are now available by reaching Rank 4, 5 and 6 in Fear Reputation, instead of Honor.

    • We will replace the Rewards for Honor ranks 4, 5 and 6 with other bonuses.
  • New stages for Honor beacon and Fear monument

    • The Honor Beacon and Fear Monument now have more levels in order to give you even bigger bonuses!

    • New Quests have also been added accordingly.

  • Burn Protection

    • Players below Level 18 no longer burn after attacks.
  • Increase Shield of Peace

    • The time for the Shield of Peace has increased to 6 - 12 hours. 

 Technical

  • Further Work on Improving Overall Performance 

    • Phase 2 of the World Map refactoring is still ongoing.

    It was previously stated in the patchnotes that the values for the Moat and Watchtower would be increased, but this is no longer the case. Instead, the balancing team decided to increase the amount of time needed for Assault and Destruction attacks against castles. An Assault battle will now take 5 minutes to complete, and a Destruction battle will last for 10 minutes.

    Also, Grade 2 Units will be available for both Fear and Honor Ranks 4, 5 and 6.
